Hi guys,

During this amazing odyssey of mine, at least 2 of you have suggested that I try the crazy 3x3 plus set. I do really fancy these but having seen the adverse comments about the stickers coming off the black versions, I would prefer to get them in the all plastic version.

As far as I can tell they are sold out across the globe in all the stores - so I wonder whether any of you might have finished with your complete set and be willing to "transfer ownership".

If these are so great that none of you can bear to be without them then obviously Calvin will be getting an order for the black plastic set!

Thanks guys.

You can still get some of them. And you do not need to get all 8. Just 2 "oppposites" will do you.
If you get Mercury & Jupiter, then you can make all the other version from them.
Take a look at the chart for them all and get a pair.
Well worth getting any of them though, as they are a great balance of challenge and fun.

P.S. Saying you don't like "black stickerd" on this forum is like putting you head up over the parapet, asking for it to get shot off!

Hi,

I really would prefer to have a set rather than have to take them apart and swap pieces about.

As for the insult of the black stickered! Let me say before someone shoots me that I lurve black and stickered! but am just wary of the smaller stickers falling off and then having to buy more stickers. I'm not particularly good at restickering - my first attempt didn't come out well!

I'm afraid those are the Bermuda cubes - I'm after the crazy 3x3 plus planets (preferably in all plastic)
Thanks for looking though. :D

I guess you should go for the black series. (How long will be these in stock?)

I have seven of them in coloured plastic and two in black (My favorite Saturn I got first in black and when the stickers started peeling off, I got another one in coloured plastic. (I will never sell puzzles! )

I'm absolutely with you, black is nice but coloured plastic is more functional for playing with them.
The stickered versions are not so bad, though.
You can always use superglue for the little triangles (circle corners.) The other stickers are large enough, in my experience.
Good luck!

I guess I will need to contact Calvin then - Must wait for the bank balance to settle a little first - have had a major splurge recently - I have bought 25 twisties in 6 weeks!!!

Also need to keep buying my other puzzles (see the blog!) - saving up for one of these
