Ahhh, one of the first puzzles I won from Tony. *memories*
Guys, you won't be disappointed! This is a great puzzle! While these have been out for awhile, no one can make them like Tony. It's smooth, solid/well built and just fun to handle.

Is this a 3x3 with twistable 'extentions' (like cross cube, but on two sides only) of from a 5x5x5?

I can't think of a single of his cuboids he didn't make by rounding off a 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 and building the puzzle around it. That's correct. I try and avoid constructing new mechanisms or altering existing ones where possible. That way movement is pretty much guaranteed to be good.
