I added a new puzzle to my online collection today and the total count went from 302 down to 295 - this is the third time it has happened recently but the first time I am sure I am not imagining it! I'm not sure which puzzles have disappeared or are no longer being counted but I only add one of each type to my collection so it's not that doubles are only being counted once.

I'm just wondering what is happening - is it because of work in the museum and puzzles are being added together to make one entry rather than two or something else?

Anyone else experiencing this?

After I read this I tested it with my own collection:
I viewed the old collection in a browser tab.
I added a puzzle recently acquired and the counter went from 462 down to 434.
I compared this new collection with the old one and found: The only difference is the added item.
Afterwards I counted the items manually and found that 434 is correct.

Indeed Sandy recently changed the functionality of the member collections.
By now it seems that he resolved a bug in the puzzle counter.
I will contact him anyway.

It sounds to me like someone is stealing from people's collections. That is very sad. Everyone should make sure they lock the doors.

It's definitely a twisty virus. It's stealing 0.003% of a puzzle from each collection per day, so that you wouldn't notice. Obviously, this has been happening for a long time now.
