One thing that I've always missed about this site is that the links that people post within pages, link within the page. What I mean is that the links don't open up in a new tab or new window. Several other forums that I frequent have this feature, and it's very useful. I'm able to check out what someone is showing without having to leave the page.

I also have a bad habit of accidently closing out of the window when ever I follow one of these links.

ctrl+click or click the link with the scroll wheel.

I prefer it to be the way it is now and I'm always a little annoyed when it's not. Whether a link opens in the current tab or a new tab should be a decision the user makes, not one the web developer forces on them.
