The approaching 300,000 post thread had me poking around the site in areas I don't typically go. Anyways I was curious what % of those posts were mine and it took me to the members section where I looked at this:
Members.PNG [ 323.47 KiB | Viewed 548 times ]
This answered my initial question... but prompted some others and even a suggestion or two. Let's start with the questions:
(1) What does the color of one's username mean? I'm tempted to say red=administrator, green=moderator, blue=the rest of us. But Andreas and Sausage are orange and I believe they too are moderators but that is not reflected in their rank. I think I've seen this discussed before but I can't find it at the moment if it was. And why is Jin blue? I see he's not active on the forums any more so maybe he's a demoted administrator that gets to keep the rank but not the color?
(2) Why is there an e-mail column if everyone's is blank? Is this something only the admins and maybe moderators can see?
Not knowing Jin very well I went back to read and few of his posts and came across this thread:http://twistypuzzles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=15835
which it appears that I missed.
And that thread gave me an idea for a suggestion.
(1) Maybe there could be a few columns added to the members page that members could fill out if they wanted to share that info, just like the wedsite column is used. Columns I might suggest would include YouTube Channel, Shapeways Shop, etc.
