I vote that we include a few new topics on here.
first would be a puzzle building modding forum.
second would be an other than twisty puzzle forum. Something like mechanical puzzle forum.
Also an expansion or an update of the articles section.
Considering how many people now come to this site and how much the puzzle world is growing, Its about time.

I like the idea of the puzzle modding forum and the mechanical puzzle
forum.

blogan wrote: I do like there layout better but do they have PM's. It seems weird to me that they have a lot of different types of puzzles to talk about in there and yet we have more discussion under 1 catagory then they do all combined but of course I think we were(twistymegasite or twistypuzzles) made 2 years ealier then they did. blogan wrote: Many of the "general puzzle" collectors don't actually like the twisty puzzles that much.
I wonder why that is?

I've been there too! they have very little traffic. I think mostly frustrated people looking for a quick solution or hint to their Christmas gift puzzles. Seems like that anyways.

Not at all. What makes that forum interesting, is the fact that there are not only twisty puzzles discussed.

Oh well, we all have different interests. I, f.i., find speedcubing boring.

Just as a side note, can you solve all your puzzles? Which ones do you find the hardest?

I like to focus on different types of puzzles rather than one.
For instance, just because the 3x3x3 cube is very famous, in my humble opinion, it doesn't make it a better puzzle than the astrolabacus. But all the rubik's competitions, the (excellent) marketing, and the massive amount of people who speedcube a cube the last 25 years, give no chance to the astrolabacus (or other interesting puzzles).
Imagine if some other company organised some astrolabacus speedcubing competitions that would provide fame and puzzles. Then things would be *very* interesting, and all those who keep this puzzle in their shelves would clean the dust and start rotating those marbles!!!
