There are 8 cubes, each of them with 3 faces and 3 numbers from 1,2,3,...,24.
The aim is to build the 2x2x2 cube, that each of the 6 faces will have the same magic sum (ms).

If you'll do that, than each of the 12 lines of 8 numbers (including 6 zig-zag lines) as you go around the cube, sums the same magic sum (2ms).
So, the magic sum appears 18-times.

Of course, the numbers can be also arranged around the twisty 2x2x2 cube.

Well.... it has to be > 24, because 24 is already present as a single number
