Gardner Ball by SCOTT and OSKAR

Hi Non-Twisty Puzzles fans,

Gardner Ball is a tribute to Martin Gardner. This tribute has the name "Gardner" tessellated around a sphere. The tessellation was designed by Scott Kim, and Oskar 3D-ified it. This math-art object was commissioned by Tom Rodgers. Samples were handed out at the Gathering for Gardner (G4G10) at Atlanta, end March 2012.

I love Scott Kim's designs, and this is a beautiful realisation of one of them. Great idea. I which I could have been at this G4G.

In the video, when you are in the kitchen, sitting in your socks, I was sure that you were going to demonstrate the strength of the ball by standing on it :lol:

What is the name of cat at the end of video?
Is it the same cat as in the middle of video (1:00 min) at the window on background?
