Today I received my DanLock puzzle direct from it's maker, Dan Feldman in Israel. He makes two versions of this puzzle. Mine is a type B which contains everything that the Type A has plus something extra that "makes it just slightly more difficult to solve" (according to Dan).

The puzzle cost $100 which included the airmail shipping (it took less than 1 week to arrive).

The puzzle is stamped with a serial number, mine is DLB094.

This seems like a very high quality collectible puzzle.

This is one of my favourite locks, very very cleverly made and all concentrated in a lock that looks like a standard one. The use of the keys is ingenious.
Till now I didn't know about A and B types. How can I tell what I have?
My stamped serial number is DFO 100

I haven't solved mine yet so I can't get into any discussion about what may be added. I am assuming that you probably have the original version which is the Type A. You could always email Dan and ask.

I've got one of types A and B each and I like them very much, the B type even more than A. They look like ordinary locks and you get them open/apart rather easily, but then the real challenge starts ....

Don't want to give a spoiler here, so I'm just saying that there is one step that seems obvious to be the next one, but you seem to be lacking the appropriate tools then and have to search for a long time. It's a very nice twist of the puzzle.
