Lately my interest has strayed away from the Twisty Puzzles and into the field of puzzle locks (see my
miscellaneous lock for evidence of this). There are many types of locks but it seems that the most common ones involve hidden keyholes. These involve either a sliding plate on the puzzle or a hinged plate that is unlocked by pressing a button. Although I have figured out how these and several others work, I cannot figure out the mechanisms for others, even with a solution. I am especially interested in ones with a key, keyhole, or hasp that have unusual shapes. I have spent several hours on a
very informative site searching through the locks. I was hoping that there was someone out there who knows how these puzzle locks work in the inside. Does anyone have knowledge or pictures of these mysterious locks on the inside? I want to expand my knowledge of these locks. Furthermore, I may be interested in purchasing or trading for puzzle locks, as well as learning about the different types of locks. If you have any that you either have taken apart, are willing to sell/trade, or even just want to show to me I would be very interested in getting a PM from you
