This is my latest puzzle. Its the square-1 speed cube. I always thought the square-1 was an underrated puzzle so I thought that if there was a good speed cube version it might gain some popularity.

It has a different mechanism than the usual rail mechanism used in the mf8 square-1. It uses more center pieces to hold in the pieces making the puzzle more springy. It can cut anywhere on the small wedge pieces and take absolutely no effort to turn.

I would be interested in trying to mass produce it if anyone is interested. I think there might be a good marked for a new square-1.

I use a combination of the roux and the beginners method to solve the square-1. I think its a good method because it is more intuitive and takes only 3 algorithms and I get better times with it than with the beginners method. the slice move alg, the permutation alg, and the parity alg. I am going to make a video on it soon so you guys can tell me what you think.

Enjoy!

This is really cool. It makes me want to buy it and relearn my dihedral strategies!
