Hi all

This is a very simple mod I made with the ongoing and long-suffering help of Burgo. He mentioned this earlier (see here for background).

I know this is a really simple mod and in the grand scheme of puzzles and mods that have been done, this is just about nothing. But I completed something I never thought I would. There are obvious imperfections on the puzzle, but the fact that I have a working puzzle is in itself a minor miracle. I've never done anything remotely like this before. It was a very long learning curve. I now have an incredibly heightened sense of awe and respect for any and all puzzle builders! The sticker colours are neither standard nor particularly striking but they'll do.

You can read about it in more detail if you want on my blog page (http://twistypuzzling.blogspot.com/2013 ... prism.html) which has the process I used as well as a little video.

Thanks for looking! :)

It looks very good.
I like very much that you edited the images you yourself but sadly the images are very small. Do you still have the originals and can you repost some with size ca. 500*500 pixels?

And I want to ask some additional questions:
What are the measurements and the weight of this thing?
What is its name?

Andreas

Yes. Redone as requested and posted in the original post.

Top to bottom 53mm. Across the top over the longest diagonal 70mm.
Weight 55g
Name? i have no idea. It's a prism and its cross-section is a rhombus so rhombic prism generically, but this is pretty boring. Any suggestions?

"Rhombicross prism"
"Mini rumbling prism" (search for the middle word in the museum)
"Four triangles prism"
"Extended Okki 000 001 110 111 - RhombicPrism"
"Icfagn" (=> I cant find a good name)

If you do not decide for anything else I will name it "Rhombic Prism 2x2x2" as a measure of desperation.
