That must have been a very difficult build up. Nice choice of cuts.

Another wonderfull mod. Great job.
Is it also possible to make the Curvy Dodecahedron with truncation only? You made your 3x3x3 Dodec, I remember me, with truncation only, too.

Thank you guys.
@Claus: I think a Truncation-Only-Curvy-Dodecahedron is not possible. The cuts on the edges are deeper for the Curvy Dodecahedron. There will be nothing left of the Curvy Copters edges.
Anybody wnat to prove me wrong?

Andreas, I don't understand this.
To build a Ico you must cut 12 edges "dual" to the dodec cuts. After this you have to truncate all 8 corners of the cube to get the missing 8 faces.
For the Dodec you don't cut the corners. Therefore I think it must be easier to make a truncated only dodec.

The problem with a truncation-only Curvy Copter are NOT the corners. The edge pieces are the problem. The first set of twelve cuts you mention are shallow enough for the Helicopter Cube. The cuts for a dodecahedron would go to deep (as I assume) to create a working puzzle.
