Both puzzles have an dodecahedral axis system and a dodecahedral shape although we are not speaking about the same dodecahedra...

7 months ago (in Berlin) I purchased the raw matrial for the second puzzle which combines two different dodecahedra. The last image might tell you why it took me so long to build this one.
This is an extensions-only transformation!
Edge length: 36mm which equals the Rexahedron.
Weight: 407 grams which is 18 grams more comapred with the rexahedron.
Its name: Curvy Dodecahedron

Only people who have expirience with extensions are knowing this inconceivable craftmanship.

The last (unfinished) picture shows not all extensions you need. I am right?

@Claus: No. That are just the unfinished extensions on the X-pieces.

Please do not expect to much. It turns bad. Maybe I can bring it with me in April.

If the picture shows all extensions you have to cut the edges and corners of the cube a little bit.

In this case it is not a extensions-only mod.

My fifth image does not show ALL extensions only those on the X-pieces. The other pieces received extensions after this image was made. Maybe this helps:
