This is my transformation of a mass produced Timur Evbatyrov Vulcano / Trignis puzzle. It has eight main sides and slightly resembles my Octaminx from 1996. I could have just taken the tips off and filled in the gaps but decided to go much further. All work including stickers was done by hand.
I intend on selling some though it won't be for a while because of predicted sticker bubbling.
Thanks once more to Timur Evbatyrov and of course Uwe Meffert for making this puzzle possible.

Tony your plastic work alway amazes me. The worst we ever see is minor sanding-like marks and never any terrible gouges or deformations. It looks great.

Thanks, any marks are most likely from the moulding. Although each different type of piece was shaped using a Dremel, files etc I then made moulds and cast the actually pieces you see. Unfortunately the resin I use goes grey if you attempt to sand it. That means final finishing is not possible like it would be on a puzzle made from plastic sheet for example.

The funny thing about Tony presenting a new creation is that he always replaces his avatar. I always look into "New puzzles" at last and therefore can always see there is something new waiting to be discovered.

On your website you give the dimensions of this creation. Are these meant to be edge lengths?

Does anybody know this shapes name? Is there any?

Very exotic puzzle! I like it! What else can be made from the Trignis?
Also, I wonder why you casted this one. Would it be hard to make a full transform?

Got it! Just thought that because it was said about another puzzle, you meant something else :)
