Hi Everyone,

I'm pleased to introduce my latest puzzles, the RotoPrism 3 in two varieties, flat and round. RotoPrism 3 is essentially a shape mod of the Fracture-6 puzzle. The prismatic shape is very nice because it is a bit easier to hold than Fracture-6, and easier to see which faces are able to make 90 degree turns.

The flat version is for geometric purists, and when the puzzle is scrambled it has minimal shape shifting. The round version is a bit more aesthetically pleasing when solved, but it does shape shift more than the flat version. Here are some pictures of each type of RotoPrism 3:

Wonderful. The curved gets my vote. Very elegant lines.

Just some observations:
Compared to the Fracture6 there is now no orientation of the [corners of the Fracture6] centres of this puzzle.
There still wouldn't be orientation of the [centres of the Fracture6] corners of this puzzle.
I like the way the square face looks when it is rotatable by 90*.
I think one of the difficult things about the puzzle is the visual confusion. The rounded puzzle takes away some of this visual confusion (it's easier to see where some pieces belong). For me, I would prefer the flat one, it would be a bit trickier visually (although colour gives it away too).
Overall, I like them, they look really nice, but I think I would still prefer the Fracture6 .
