I made this puzzle in oct-nov 2011. It is a 3x3 mod.

I think this is the very first 3x3x3 mod I've ever seen that had me completely stumped which puzzle it's been made from. That, my friend, is an achievement.

Can you make an image showing a midturn state from the beginning?
That would be a good addition for an entry in the museum.

So, the shape is basically a Rhombic Dodecahedron that has been elongated along an axis going between opposite order-3 vertexs? Or am I misunderstanding the pictures?
