This puzzle is the Pyraminx adaptation of the Bump Cube/ Mirror Blocks by Hidetoshi Takeji, a puzzle I have always admired greatly.
I based my puzzle on a White plastic Tomy Pyraminx (I would have used a Black plastic Pyraminx, however I did not have one spare at the time of building). Triangular panels of different thicknesses (0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm and 3mm) were applied to the pieces of the puzzle to build up the faces and Milliput was used to both fill the edges and hide joins.

I would consider the puzzle only mildly bumped, which in my opinion adds to the challenge of the puzzle as it makes differentiating pieces from one another slightly more difficult. However this is also something that I consider a slight flaw as the faces of *0.5mm and 1mm in hight are particularly hard to differentiate from one another and more so than I would have liked.
*0.5mm sheeting was only used to cover the White plastic of the puzzle on which it is based, so had I used a Black Pyraminx as the base this "flaw" would not exist.

But generally I am very happy with the puzzle as a prototype and proof of concept.
Stickers were cut by hand from Matt Silver sheets of vinyl.
It is slightly larger than a regular Pyraminx and weighs 175 grams.
