This is really cool! It is just a normal square one put into a shape where on both sides it's edge edge corner corner edge edge corner corner, that is than shape transformed into this domino right? I was looking for a picture of this state but couldn't find one. http://www.jaapsch.net/puzzles/square1d.htm it's left in the second row.

Haha I was not expecting that! I thought it would be a 2 layered square-1, maybe without the circle or something. This is much more fun

Awesome puzzle. Even though you built this from a Square-1, could this have also been built from a QJ Domino? I think the mechanism would allow it with a bit of bandaging and unbandaging.
