This is my 4x5x6 cuboid. It was made at the request of Sigurd Wedel. It is the fourth cuboid of it's kind to be made (1x2x3, 2x3x4, 3x4x5 and now the 4x5x6). VIDEO This puzzle is a complex beast with over 40 unique parts. Despite this, it rotates really well and is quite stable. I think it rotates even better than my 3x4x5 cuboid. Of course, this puzzle also shapeshifts and allows 90 degree turns on the 4x6 faces. Solving this puzzle will be no easy task. Many geniuses have broken their heads over my 3x4x5 (Jaap could not even calculate the number of possible states correctly) and this one can only be worse. VIDEOBuy at Shapeways starting at just $185Buy your own fully functional 4x5x6 cuboid, starting at under just $185/€155 in WSF. BSF and WSFP are $205/€170. A truly amazing price for a complex and high-quality puzzle. I am offering free stickers with every 4x5x6. Simply send me an email after buying with your address and I will ship you a complimentary set of stickers via regular mail.

This has been a nice puzzle which I've seen spawn from concept to realisation. It looks fantastic, and I will certainly be buying this shortly (I bolded the 'certainly' to make sure I do buy it ).

Oh man, this looks amazing. I haven't purchased many cuboids, but when I do, this will be one of them. Excellent job, as always.

It weighs 125.47921 grams. The outer measurements are 56x66x83mm.
It is slightly out of proportion. It is perfectly possible to make a proportional 4x5x6 with this exact same mechanism, but making the puzzle slightly disproportional allows for a much thicker and more durable connection to the corner pieces. I had specifically not mentioned this in the original post because I wanted to see how many people would figure out on their own, and not many have. The disproportionality is very small, giving 12x11mm cubies on some faces. I've played a little with the margins giving slightly squarer stickers which do a very good job at hiding my little trick.

As a big fan of TomZ puzzles and a fan of cuboids, I can only say that Christmas is not so far away. But I'll wait what this will "blow away".

Brilliant puzzle. Cuboids are one of my favorite types of twisty puzzles and I know I'm not alone here...

Tom, can you provide more details of the screws, washers and springs on the Shapeways page? What sort of screw heads have you used, etc
