Hi,

I lately finished a quite trashy modification.

I did it do finish this series:

I find it fascinating that only one of this series was actually modified.

I love how the Skewb mechanism works with so many different shapes.

So, your mod is like the opposite of the Skewb Hex?

It sure looks like it, (it's the dual polyhedron)

Nice mod, Andreas! And not too trashy ... :)

Stupid question about the middle one in the group picture, which I do not recall: Is this a common production range puzzle, or just a combination of Skewb square pieces and Diamond Skewb triangles?

I've made the third one in the series, but I'm looking for a unique way to sticker it. Looks great!

That puzzle was named Paraskewb but not by me. I rebuilt one:

That is just a piece shuffle.

The duals of the archimedean solids (the middle three) are the catalan solids. There are no duality paris present in that image beside the cube and the octaeder.
The image is about to rebuild the series of five solids on this website:

I love this puzzle, mainly because it can allow one to see why the Skewb is closer to the Pentultimate than Chopasaurus. Good work! :D
