Hello, I would like to present my new puzzle - Dino Chop with magnets. This cube is combination Dino + 48 cube. 3D model of the cube was created by Oskar. Dino movements are smooth, for another types of turns you should align the parts. Enjoy! Video: Dino Chop CubeRelated topics: Makarov's Cube, Little ChopBest regards, Vladimir Yaroslavskiy

Oh, very nice! Now "only" add the funcionality of a Helicopter cube and a Skewb please! That would be like Gelatinbrain 3.7.2 ? ( I am not sure these applets don't work for me.)

That would be one amazing mechanism! Also, is a Skewb-like turn possible with this cube? Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like it can't turn like a Skewb.

Dino Chop (as well as 48 cube) doesn't allow Skewb-like turn, but 96 cube (if we cut each part of 48 cube) does.

I'm not sure if this is a typical Oskar puzzle or not. On one hand, it is an insane puzzle to design and the functionality is more than what meets the eye. But, on the other hand, it is a 'standard' type cube in that it's a combination of already-existing ideas and designs.

What do you mean by magnets? I suppose it has a metal sphere inside? ortwin wrote: Oh, very nice! Now "only" add the funcionality of a Helicopter cube and a Skewb please! If it does just have a sphere inside and nor real mechanism, adding only one of those will make the puzzle unplayable. If you want all those functionalities combined, you will have to design the acual mechanism. But I gues that won't be much easier to realise practically.

This cube has metal sphere inside and all parts have magnets, no inner mechanism. See the link to my other puzzles Makarov's cube and Little Chop in the first message.

First off, GREAT JOB!!! So how do you like having a 48 cube? Have you tried it out without dino turns? Ain't the jumbling on this baby a blast? Now let's factor in the dino cuts. How on Earth did you get this to function better than a super x?
