Hey, This is my next and last puzzle of the day (more will come this week ) As this is a curvy hexaminx, it does not share 'normal' hexaminx properties, hense why Tony allowed me to sell it. As the hexaminx was first invented by him, not me, I have also decided to make it as cheap as possible, 40$ for the DIY kit. 40 was just to round off, but it's only 2-3$ markup ^^ On the other hand, the assembled and stickered kit will be much more because of the work required to assemble, dye and sticker the puzzle, 70$. It spins pretty good for a 30 mm puzzle so I'm very happy about it. I guess you all know what a hexaminx is, so... enjoy Buy at Shapeways
VideoStickers are provided by Oliver NagyBy the way very important: The hexaminx centers are clipped in the core! The holes in the core are made too small on purpose so that even misprints won't affect the centers' ability to hook. That means you'll have to progressively make the holes larger using a knife or something close. Don't make them too large thoughEnjoy! - Greg Attachment:

Really nice Greg, I will be buying one this summer for sure along with the other puzzle you have posted already, maybe even your third puzzle too Also does it require screws? Well done.

Since you mention my *third* puzzle of the week, I think I ought to mention my *fifth* puzzle Just wait and see, but don't get your hopes up, they're all squishy or fragile by nature (Oh, and you can't buy my third puzzle, I won't be seeling it as it's just a micro mental block) On topic, this puzzle uses a minimis 2x2x1 as core, and the snapping in is hard, so you might need to cut off a millimeter or two from the centers to snap it nin the first time, but it doesn't require screws 77Mouser wrote: I didn't think this was even possible at this size. The core indeed has an 18mm diameter, but as you can see, it's very stable, and almost impossible to pop on purpose (literally impossible when not on purpose ^^)

Can you show its scale? I'm not sure if you want to advertise the mini aspect of it, but I'd like to see it next to a ruler to get a good idea of the size.

It's a real size comparison with the helicopter cube, it's 30mm, half its size, in other words, it's the size of a mini 3x3 Ah. Well, I don't own a helicopter cube, but I think I get it now.

Anybody here, who got already experience with Shapeways' polished pieces? Could be a good candidate for a try.

Another great puzzle! Not as big a difference as your other puzzle but the pricing looks to be off here too: White strong and flexible = $33.61, black strong and flexible = $29.58 Isn't the black material meant to be more expensive?

I don't know but you sure could take advantage of it EDIT: I emailed shapeways and their repaired that slight bug. I then reduced the small amount of markup on BSF WSFP and XSF (x= red/blue) to make those 4 at the same price... By the way very important: The hexaminx centers are clipped in the core! Wow, thank you so much At the moment I have to put high markup to be able to fund my puzzles (all the profit goes into puzzle building), but soon I might get authorization from my new university to use their 3D printed for free prototypes. If this happens I will reduce markup considerably on all my puzzles, so who knows, maybe you'll get a chance to own a few
