Pantazis' Golden Star

As promised, here is the puzzle which is based on Petersen's Graph.

The goal is simple, exchange the internal penta-star with the external pentagon.
There are two colors to be exchanged, both of which represent a solution.

I just wished I had this when attending the graph theory classes at Uni...

Professor: Today we will review the properties of the Petersen Graph...
Student: You mean this right? *shows Golden Star Puzzle*
Its properties are that it is made of golden, silver and bronze
colored telescopic rods connected with metal rings!
Professor: ...
Student: Look! I can prove it is non-planar!!!
Professor: And how do you plan to do this?
Student: The rods, have a diameter of 8mm!!!
Professor: *faints*
