Great looking puzzle Clause. Looks a really clean design. I bet those small pieces were a problem.
Can you provide more details please? Hand mod/3D printed, if modified, modified from what, and son on?

Here are some more details.
The StarCube based on a Minx. No truncation or cuts only extensions.
My approch was to get a star on two opposite faces.
The small slice on 2 sides was not my goal. I tried a lot of attempts to eliminate this.
The edge lenght of the cube is nearly 80mm.
