Hi everyone,
Here is my latest puzzle, the Master Quartet. This puzzle has been done for several months now but because of my grandfathers passing, my heavy scool load and my computer crashing I have been unable to show it until now. This puzzle was "comissioned" by and built for my grandfather. sorry for the low quality of the pictures but they were taken with my dads iphone when I was there last.

Now on to the puzzle, it was designed in solidworks, printed in sls by shapeways and stickered with cubesmith tiles. Overall the turning is good, however I noticed some looseness when turning on the long side but all you have to do is learn how to hold it. Also, my sticker cutting template worked perfectly and made it much easier to sticker.

I have observed problems with the higher order quartet puzzles like the looseness mentioned above. Because of this, I probably will not design any higher orders of the quartet series. Thankfully the Master Quartet does not suffer from the problem very much unlike the crazy quartet which was so loose it was almost a disaster! Thanks again to lykwid for letting me use his design.

The puzzle can be purchaced at shapeways for $95 here: http://www.shapeways.com/model/119918/master_quartet.html?gid=ug37279

I can't waid for a video. And about the looseness on puzzles, which happends sometimes, Its true that knowing how to hold it makes it really great :)

EDIT: Lol at the comments on shapeways
