What can I say, I love Master Skewb and modding it. Traiphum has made a black pillowed Axis Master Skewb, and so did Chino (tho I can't seem to find it). I made this puzzle to practice my precision but I often have trouble making puzzles cubic, especially when there are tons of extension and very few reference points from the base puzzle. This is my most successful effort in making puzzles cubic (aside from Octex which has two planes to reference to begin with), but it is still a bit off. Does anyone have tips on making puzzles precisely cubic? Thanks in advance.

As you can see from the pictures, the Axised Master Skewb is quite a bit larger than the base puzzle. That's because a regular axis cut will go into the mechanism, so I only made very shallow cuts to make planar reference.

A regular rubic's cube for size reference, Axis Master Skewb, Octex, and Master Skewb Kite...
I have two more Master Skewbs coming my way, so any suggestions on what to make of them?

If you can manage it a Master Skewb Ultimate would be amazing.

I must say I love the master axis skewb, especial the corner that looks like a 3x3 like puzzle.

Great job.

AWESOME! I am jealous of your skills...

Some ideas-

-Diamond
-Ball
-Dodecahedron
-Icosahedron
-Tetrahedron
-Golden Cube / Randomly extended Cube
-Hexagonal Prism
-Mental Block :)

Thats all I got, you already hit some very good ones. Again, amazing work.

Great work! Your hand-modding skills are amazing. I can't decide which one I like more, Traiphum's pillowed one, or this flat one.

That blows my mind. It's so awesome! Great work, I can't wait to see what will be next.

Oh, and I would also suggest Master Skewb Ultimate. :)

Well, Master Skewb Ultimate seems to be the one! Then I guess I'll make that and a Master Tetrahedron when my package gets here.
@ Greg, sorry, man, it's really difficult to part with mods I hand crafted
