Also known as the most beautiful puzzle in the universe because: 1. It has a diamond shape whose external sides correspond to only one color. 2. It can change(!) five colors. 3. It moves very mysteriously, almost hypnotically. 4. It is covered with a soft flexible fabric, as if it had a skin(!). CLICK HERE FOR A VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvBIUbqKa4YAttachment:

In the photo above, you may see the external yellow colors, while the red and blue are the inside colors, waiting for their turn to be part of the diamond shape! The shape is indeed a projection of a rectified pentachoron, and it uses the 4D symmetry properties. And maybe those properties are not being used in full (as she is dressed), but she looks so pretty! More information if I have a chance at the airports, or as soon as I reach London. I made a really crappy video of Afroditi changing her colors, but I need to make a better one. Sadly, photos do NOT do justice on this beauty! Pantazis

Even though it is harmless, I did not take any chances to have it confiscated by the airport security and placed inside my (already) checked in luggage. It seems it is destined to be video-ed in the UK! And after the photo where the yellow color is at the outside, here are two more photos, one with the red color on the outside and one with the blue! I will never understand these puzzles. Is there a specific name for a puzzle of this type? Stick-D puzzles? But is looks very cool, however it works. Even with video I don't understand.....

Okkie, here is a video of the puzzle/toy and how it works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvBIUbqKa4YIn the video, I changed it from having the red as external colors, to blue as external colors! For someone who can watch the movie carefully, it will be easy to realise how things work. You do not need to understand the higher dimensional symmetry to still appreciate the wonderful properties. And although this is a prototype, it is quite a strong one!!! In any case, it is the very first graphidron (in fact the very first puzzle) which uses sides/faces that can stretch. As for the type of those puzzles, I call them "Graphidrons", or whenever the dimensional symmetry is known, with the corresponding name (e.g. this one is based on 4D symmetry, so it is a "4Ds" puzzle). Pantazis PS. The person who helped me take this video has the same name with this puzzle/toy! PS2. Have been insanely busy lately and I need to answer many important emails!!! (sorry to those who are waiting)
