Hey, This is not a totaly new puzzle, but here it is - Star puzzle with a twist Plus. Desgined by Muffet, and available in his Shapeways shop. You can buy the Star with a twist here, and the special tips here. The Star with a twist Plus is a combination between the original Star Puzzle by muffet and the newer version, Star puzzle with a twist. its also bigger and more stable than both version. the puzzle turns very smooth (little tight on the tips) and in a few different ways: Star with a twist move: Star with a twist move + tips: Middle slice move (with tips on normal state): Middle slice move (with tips on 90 degree state): Stickers are hand cut in 10 different colors - Black, Grey, Blue, Light Blue, Green, Light Green, Red, Orange, Purple and Pink. 1 color on each face (5 colors on each "big" face) with light colors on one face dark color on the opposite face. I also stickers the "side" of the tips with the opposite color, for example - Green face and Light Green "side" color and so on. Scramled (with every move possible): PS. At first I asked Matthew (Muffet) to make a bigger and more stable version of the star with a twist, he kindly said yes and let me buy it off his shapeways shop. 10 days later, I got a package with everything inside and assambled my star with a twist. I left it on the floor and painted it with some lacquer as matthew suggested. came back after a day and the puzzle disappeared. apparently the dog took it and destoryed the tips =S. so I had to buy some new tips, which gave me an idea - why not to make the tips turn like the original star puzzle? so I asked matthew again to redesign the tips and let me buy it. got it two days ago, made the stickers and here we are =) PS2. I exedently scambled the puzzle a little bit before taking the pictures, so the first picture which shows the color scheme is not correct, but you should be able to imagine how it should look like. 1 black sticker is missing (on the side of the tip), I will cut a new one tomorrow. Enjoy.Sharon

I love it! It is like a mixup-star puzzle!
So it shape-shifts then? Very cool...

Very cool. I wish the puzzle could turn on its top and bottom axis (along with its middle axis). So in other words, there would be three possible lateral/horizontal movements. Nice work though.

Chris I'm not sure I understand what you mean? could you perhaps simply edit one of those pictures and draw in what you mean?

Ok I hope this helps. What I meant was that the puzzle would have an added challenge if it turned like a DOGIC. Think about a DOGIC when looking at this. So if you held the puzzle flat you could turn the tip, turn the middle, and turn the whole half. Chris
