I choose the name as resemblance to the Skewbstar. Please see the database.
Last DCD I took the chance to speak with Chino about this modification.
He accepted to build it for me and today I picked it up from the post office.
The solid is called "First stellation of icosidodecahedron"

Thank you Chino.

I love it! Reminds me of a Rhomball, even though it is nothing like it.

Very cool!

Awesome! That shape would also make a great Pentultimate shape variant.

Very cool puzzle! Absolutely stunning. It's also so cool to see your name in orange!

Nice puzzle. Looks like there are alot more cut planes then there actually are.

Ok... curiosity has got me. What is the significance of one's name being orange? Number or post? Moderator status? It looks cool... just not sure what it means.

Carl

The meaning of it is Moderator status, as you can see on this thread Andreas is now a Museum Moderator.

[Edit: Just to clarify a bit more: Red is an Admin (can add and delete accounts plus moderate), Green a Forum Moderator (can edit and move posts, ban, etc.), Orange a more limited moderator (database, just moving topics, etc.)]
