This has been in the making for a while. This may be my first mod, but i do not feel that it reflects my normal artwork. I felt bad signing my signature on this puzzle that's how bad I think it is. Well, I hope someone will apprieciate it. This is made from a chinaminx with hand cut stickers. There will be a v.2. For next time any tips you guys have will help.

P.S. what is the best megaminx to make a Hexaminx out of other than a meffert's minx

Concidering that this is really your first mod it is extremely good. And you must have concentrated on this a lot and put much effort in it. I still can't conceive how this thing is made. I mean the building progress not the theory of the dodecahedron lying in that cube.
Well done. Hexaminx is definetly one of the more difficult shape mods I think. (even though I don't have any building experience apart from a rhombic dodecahedron 3x3x3 and a half finishied master pyramorphix.)

That looks great! To answer your question, I believe the mf8 Megaminx would be a good base puzzle.
