Some of you may remember when I started this cube. Unfortunately, i was never able to sticker it until recently. The stickers were hand cut so they're not perfect, and since I've had the cube painted so long, some of the paint has chipped off. Anyways, I really am happy with it otherwise considering it's been my first mod. Here's some pictures of it solved and checkerboarded from different angles.

Nice work, but it's kind of messy. I recommend that next time you try to cut more cleanly, and then sand faces flat by taping sand paper to a hard, flat surface (i.e. the floor), and sanding very carefully. Then use a ruler and an exacto knife to cut the stickers.

Keep working on it!

Awesome; great idea. I'd love to see a one coloured version in the future.

I used a file covered with 100 grit sand paper to make my cuboctahedron. It turned out pretty nice; I like it.

Congrats on your first mod! That's 1 more than I have ever made.
Just curious, why sticker it if it's a bump?

Yep. I have one mod in my shelf, which is a rhombic dodecahedron from a 3x3x3 and I sanded the sides in this way. Just attach sand paper to the ground or floor. You should also tape the puzzle together except the side you want to sand of course, and than just push the puzzle back and forth.
I am not a pro in building but it should make the side much smoother.

I thought it would look cooler than if it was all just one color.
