Have you missed me??
I hope noone has made a 4x4x2 while I was gone...
I end my 3 month vaication from the puzzles with the puzzle that has made me hate shapeways ever since I designed it in feburary last year.
I have tried to upload it to shapeways over and over again, but allways got the same non manifold error message.
But when I decided to give it a last go before I send them the original design file so did it to my supprice actually work. So I bought one the first thing I did.
I got the box from shapeways yesterday, so I put it together and stickered it at once, and I love it.
Putting it together was not as fun though, you need to modify a mini 2x2 for the core, quite much allso..

I want to make it easier to asemble before I make it avalible for sale.
But if someone really insist, so can I make this very design avalible for sale.
If you thought you missed something since I've only showed the original v1 before this, here is a little history lesson for you.
4x4x2 v1, was designed by me and built by Claus
4x4x2 v2, was designed to be smaller and use a mini 3x3 as core instead of the 2x2. It didn't work. 2 persons tried to build it, I have the parts from one of them and the core didn't work.
4x4x2 v3, was designed to be 3D printed, so I puched the limits to make it look as good as possible. I designed the v3.1 before something happend to the v3
4x4x2 v3.1, is basicly a shapemod of the v3, the only diferens is thet the edges has been made sqare instead of the classic olzing look. I mentioned it on my DCD lecture last year.
