I present the Master Tutt’s Icosahedron. This puzzle has 134 parts not including the caps or the Core. It uses 12 screws and has room for springs however this particular one does not have any. I will let pictures and videos do most of the talking for me. Due to an error on trying something new with the core I cannot uncrew this one without destroying the core. I may print a new fixed core at a later time, but for now I am calling this particular puzzle finished. I do plan to have this puzzle offered up as kits on shapeway for a reasonable price. However, you should read the following before deciding whether or not you truly want one. The price for a kit should be in the 200 to 300 USD range. Now I must say I will be editing the files for this puzzle before I offer it up for sale. There are a few things that could be improved upon, however, I believe this puzzle is more for collective purposes. This version does turn, but not without effort. The problem arises in the design. This puzzle is a Crossminx at heart. To make the parts look proportional and come out straight cut to look like the Master tutt, the mechanism is very close to the surface of the puzzle. This is why the outside of this puzzle has almost no filleting. This then allows the outer layer edges to catch on the centerpieces. All that you have to do to be able to turn the puzzle is to lift the little edges up when you are turning it. I have designs for a V2 which should fix most of the issues. I cannot say for sure how the second version will fair, I cannot even say if part of the reason mine catches is because of a faulty core or the absence of springs. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before I scrambled it edit: I forgot I took these two pictures while solved, with my phone Soooo if I can solve it then I will post pictures of it solved until then there is the video.

Nice build, too bad the core has issues and the turning looks acceptable.

That looks very nice! The turning seems alright, and it may turn better with a bit more breaking it. Great work! -Mark-

Very Impressive. I was wondering when someone would finish one. I know of one other who had worked on this puzzle but he never finished it (no, not me). Looks great.
