I recently ordered one of the Micro Pyraminx puzzles by grigr. I decided to only partially assemble it and make the world's smallest Tetraminx puzzle. I hand cut the stickers using the same material you find on Meffert's original Tetraminxes.

You should make an Octaminx out of it.

So this is not its own custom puzzle, right?

EDIT: You don't know how much I want a camera with that high quality.

Tony, I thought you didn't prefer to 3D print your puzzles! Why didn't you make this by hand?

Only kidding of course, great job. I would not have had the patience to super-glue each individual sticker  Especially with the liquid glue, I much prefer gel super glue.

Cool idea, keep em comin'

Please don't even think of this as one of mine. Even I wouldn't put my name to something I simply didn't fully assemble. All credit goes to grigr.

Nice one! A very simple idea, but it works really well. I like it. :)

Is this why this puzzle is not listed as one of your handmade puzzles on your website?

Yes, I know that he made the original puzzle. However I must disagree with you, because if you truncate a normal Mefferts Pyraminx like this I would consider that a new idea as well.

I agree that grigr made a fantastic puzzle, and I agree credit for the Micro Pyraminx goes to him. But the tetraminx was entirely your idea, would you give ALL the credit for whoever made the first half truncated cube to Erno Rubik?

Just my thoughts, not trying to be mean or anything.

It's Grigr's puzzle design. Tony assembled it, but Grigr was the designer. Tony has no right to say it's puzzle, as he quite rightly hasn't. Otherwise I could claim that I'm the reason behind the Mini Split Pentagonal Domino, because I bought the prototype. The Tetraminx was Tony's design (and keep in mind that the Tetraminx is quite an open idea; Tony was just the first one to do it) but Grigr designed it.

I suppose Tony did have some input in choosing to not fully assemble the Pyraminx, resulting in the Tetraminx. However, he did not actually truncate the pieces like Adman234 suggested. I would suggest that grigr be given the majority of the credit, but Tony should still get some credit for the idea. :D

This is a boolean: Either it goes on the list or it doesn't. I would like to know whether this one should or should not.

Normally I would agree... but.

If Tony wants to give that credit to grigr he should have the right to.

I'd say put it on the list and credit grigr as Tony requested.

Just my 2 cents... no need to over complicate things,
Carl

I'd say put it on the list and credit grigr as Tony requested.

But then you have the problem of grigr being credited twice for the same puzzle. The Micro Pyraminx has already appeared in a previous list (October I think :?) and this is the same puzzle (if we base it on grigr's input). The only reason it is different is because of what Tony did.

I'm not saying that grigr doesn't deserve credit, just that I'm not sure it should be listed again. :D

I missed it! I can't believe it! I missed the Micro Pyraminx! I'll just number it 651 in the middle of October.
(EDIT: Oh, thank goodness! It's just under the Elementalix name.)

This can surely have a spot in the list.

I noticed you that edited just before I was about to post. Will this be in the list or counted as the Elementalix? :D

Sweet! Can this take the cake for "world's smallest twisty puzzle"?

Please, do not need to write so many words about the name ...
I have already said - little interest to me whose name appears next to my puzzle.

I try to explain: look at the design
you just need to forget or lose the corners to get a new puzzle ...
You do not even have anything to cut ... it is very simple;)
