Hi Twisty Puzzles fans, Arrow Planet Base is the base of the Arrow Planet puzzle, but without the sliding square tiles. I built Arrow Planet Base to illustrate the unusual jumbling and fudged geometry of the Arrow Planet puzzle. Arrow Planet Base is also a puzzle by itself, being equivalent to a bandaged Rubik's Cube. Watch the YouTube video. Buy the puzzle from my Shapeways Shop. Read more about Arrow Planet in the Twisty Puzzle Forum. Read more at the Shapeways Forum. Check out the photos below. Enjoy! Wow. I really like this. It may be one of your most asthetically pleasing puzzles. Good work!

This certainly looks better than the Arrow Planet, I like it. Alex

Great as always! Have you considered removing the bandaging and the fudging to create a base that is similar to your distorted cube?

This reminds me of a Nightmare cube by Noah sort of. Just a lot easier. He just thought of the idea but did not make it. I don't know who made the Nightmare cube.

I'm probably one of the only ones who liked arrow planet better, but this is very nice as well, because it demonstrates the concept in a far easier to comprehend manner.

Looks good. Oskar wrote: Arrow Planet Base is also a puzzle by itself, being equivalent to a bandaged Rubik's Cube. Can you please clarify its bandaging signature? I assume no "corner" pieces is attached to an adjacent edge. I assume that two faces are connected to the same edge. Is that true?
