I've hinted at it here. And there. And here it is! The Edge-Turning Rhombic DodecahedronVIDEO!AUCTION!Attachment:

This puzzle finishes up the trilogy of Face-, Vertex-, and Edge-Turning puzzles for the Rhombic Dodecahedron shape. It is identical in mechanism to the Face-Turning Deltoidal Icositetrahedron. Only jumbling turns are possible, and they happen at multiple angles. The puzzle turns very, very well, and doesn't lock up at all. I will be selling this puzzle on eBay sometime in the next week (as soon as I get home for winter break). I'll post a video soon. In the meantime, enjoy the pictures! Attachment:

Wait a minute, WHAT!?!? Wow. Just wow. Keep on exploring what can be done with the Catalan solids!

So that's what your hint picture was. Incredible! Vertex turning next?

He meant those puzzles share the same geometry as a vertex turning rhombic dodecahedron. He was responding to my original question

Okay, my brain just officially exploded! I see how it rotates, but I just can't believe it. First, the deeper cut edge-turning Icosahedron, and now this? That's just as if not moreso genius than some of Oskar's creations. Quick question: Seeing as each face is asymmetric, I was just wondering if the rotation axis is at a right angle or not compared to the Rh-Dod edges? Wow.

You've been making some incredible puzzles lately and, as over used as the word is, this one is awesome! The pattern on the faces is similar to the curvy copter II but with extra bits on two of the corners. Very aesthetically pleasing.

Awesome! I've been talking with TomZ about this one. I absolutely love it. Please say that this will be another one for Shapeways?

Brain.exe has stopped working. Brain.exe has suffered a serious malfunction due to the epicness of the first sight of the puzzle. Please reboot and try again later.

This puzzle is simply incredible!!! It has 24 cuts that aren't parallel to the edges, and when is turned, just some sides get aligned and the others not, as I could see... So it's because it only jumbles. Deltoidal Icositetrahedron symmetry! MARVELOUS!!! Now we began the Jumbling Age!

Wow. fbgrac wrote: It has 24 cuts that aren't parallel to the edges, In fact, the cuts are parallel to the edges! And the axes are perpendicular to the edges. However, the axes don't meet the edges right in the middle. They are slightly off center. Thanks for all the compliments!

Just cool. And by the way: There is no edge turning rhombic dodecahedron on the platonic matrix... That is another matrix.

Amazing puzzle, I love the way it looks and its symmetry.

Just looking at this puzzle makes my brain melt. Although I can clearly see how the symmetries work, I still find it hard to comprehend that it actually exists. Is this just a shape-mod of the Face turning icosatetrahedron, minus the face centers? It seems to be but I can't really tell. However I have some questions and a picture is worth a thousand words: 1. are all the blue/cyan-ish pieces mechanically identical? I remember they were on the FTIcosatetrahedron, I can't tell if they are here. 2. are the green pieces (labeled piece 2) mechanically identical? 3. can the purple piece be flipped in place? Great puzzle though! It surprised me. thanks, sj

Very nice Eitan. Could one be made in which the axis of rotation which is in the middle of the edge?
