This simple Skewb Kite transformation was made purely for a tuition video I created for MeffertsPuzzles YouTube channel. I am not sure if it has been made before but I know Thomas has constructed something very similar.
Update: I have now discovered that it has been made before by Benjy Oliver.

This is very cool Tony and very well done. I like that it's the first video you really spoke in too Can we expect more of these? Personally, I'd like to see videos like these showing how to make your original puzzles, like the Mental Block.

Nice one Tony. I was seriously planning to make this. I had the name Skewb Reflex planned (similar to the Skewb Hex), how I was going to do it, and propose the idea to Meffert's. Damn it. Nevermind. At least it's easier to see what my idea would look like anyway.

How about named 'truncated skewb rhombic dodecahedron'?

Great puzzle and tutorial.

A few thing I want to say-

1. I am very glad you disabled adding comments you this video, and I hope you do this in the future as well.
99% of comments on your videos are something like "Not a full scramble!" and "its all the same color so its always solved" and "you have no life"
If only there was an option on youtube to only let TP members post comments!
2. Post this puzzle on your website! EDIT: that was fast! Except there is an advertisement covering it on my computer
3. YOU FINALLY TALKED IN A VIDEO! There is only 1 other video that you have spoken in to my knowledge...

1. VERY Informative. You did an awesome job, I need to start changing the way I make puzzles and do it more like this.
2. I also enjoyed learning about how you cut stickers. I have always struggled with stickers.
3. Nice transition at 11:56!
4. Do you own the Mefferts puzzle channel? Because all of the videos appear to be made by you. Not that thats a bad thing or anything, just wondering.

I was wondering why there were so many Skewb Kites in that unboxing video you did for mefferts. Now I know. Modding. Or you already had this made before that unboxing.

Actually most comments are intelligent. Only a tiny number are like that. For some unknown reason though the Nano Cube and 7x7x7 Ball videos seem to attract a disproportionate number of idiotic comments.


From the channel page- "Tony set up the channel and runs it on a day-to-day basis. He also makes most of the basic videos such as demonstrations, disassemblies, unboxings and does all the editing."


It's always good to have a large stock of puzzles. Especially when they have your name on them.


Based on my opinion of that dialogue it may well be the last!
