VIDEOI've recently been trying out full prints at Shapeways, and these are two puzzles that I've made recently. My goal is to create simple but interesting puzzles that are relatively inexpensive ($20-$40) to get a full print of.
The rhombic dodecahedron 2x2 is "sliced" just like a slice cube would be.
The Josh's 2x2 is made so that it has one skewb-like cut and makes some interesting shapes. Because of the skewb cut, you have the option of stickering it offset or regular. I opted to sticker it offset (much like Tony's Golden Cube needs to be rotated a bit before full turning is capable) because I thought it would be a little more challenging. It's a bit too "loose" for my tastes, but that's because I sprayed CRC in the mini es 2x2 and made it a little
too good at turning.
My next step is to make another 2x2 shape variant and attempt to make tiles for it so that they can be dyed and glued on.

(I will eventually take some nice pictures of these two, but a video will do for now.)
