Hi Twisty Puzzles fans, Twisty Tree is a fractal twisty puzzle, similar to Fractal Cube. It was noted at the Twisty Puzzles Forum that it is hard to see the fractal nature of Fractal Cube. At that time, I suggested to add some gaps between the pieces to highlight the fractal shape. Here is the result. Twisty Tree is a fourth order fractal, one order higher than Fractal Cube. All leaves and branches can be interchanged. I included a stem and a fractal conical root for my amusement. When the root pieces are mixed with the branches and leaves, the tree shape is hardly recognizable anymore. The puzzle works reasonably well, but it is a bit floppy. It is hard to get the tolerances right with a structal as big as this. The puzzle is very hollow, with 0.7 mm thick walls. Watch the YouTube video. Buy the puzzle from my Shapeways Shop. Oskar, you broke the universe again. I'll go get the duct tape...
It seems that Oskar has designed a class of puzzles with an interesting property: The axes of rotation are neither stationary nor are they even all intersecting. I can't think of any puzzles made by other people that display this ability. Is there a way to fit this into one of your classifications, Andreas?

its incredible! never has a pieces been able to travel this long on the puzzle. The video is so nice! now make a robot guy puzzle! with his whole body like this!

I do love the fact that two adjacent "twigs" can somehow end up on completely opposite ends of the tree! Quite incredible, really.

I didn't quite kneel down to this puzzle's awesomeness yet until I saw the video.  This puzzle is so amazing!! I like the sound the root of the tree makes
