That center (I'm assuming it's a center) looks olz'ed. Not sure why you'd need a 3x3x3 mod olz'ed unless you're doing some funny cuts on the outside.

That because it's not a 3x3 mod

It's a floppy mod!

And if you put one of those under and one over a white KO floppy cube, you get a C4U 3x3x7

if someone wants to buy this puzzle, I warn you - there fragile mechanism
there are no screws - all built on the snap fastener. to twist slowly and carefully.

if I find a suitable screws, then I'll do a second version of the puzzle;)

Would making it thicker help any?
