This is a flat twisty puzzle, similar to Oskar's recent Rotabram. Where the Rotabram has gears to complicate things, Pascal's Jumble jumbles. Attachment:

The numbers are the numbers of Pascal's Triangle. For more information about this amazing mathematical pattern, here's just one website (there are thousands, I'm sure) that explains some of the most interesting facts about Pascal's Triangle: http://ptri1.tripod.com/I made it out of laser-cut acrylic, laser-cut stickers, and (definitely not laser-cut) wood. The puzzle turns well enough, but if it is not aligned, it locks up. I will probably make 2 or 3 more of this puzzle, and I will be selling at least 1, possibly 2. This particular one will be going to my current math professor, which is why it has the CU Applied Mathematics logo on the back. I'll post here when I make some more. Attachment:

I'm pretty sure this puzzle is going to be a beast to solve. I'm just glad it's easy to take apart! Enjoy! -π (Eitan)

This looks really great. I love the incoperation of pascal's triangle with the colored stickers!

It looks really cool! I don't think it would be THAT hard to solve, but it looks like it would be quite fun because of all the different sized/shaped pieces. Circle puzzles are really neat and I think they have definitely not been explored to their full potential!

Very original idea, I love it. Personally I prefer it without the numbers which are hard to understand how they relate (even though I know Pascal's triangle), especially as they turn upside down, etc. Perhaps a better way would be to colour the wheels like a simple colour-mixing diagram, with cyan, yellow, magenta, blue, red, green, etc., for example: Attachment:

But still: I LOVE IT, especially how it jumbles. And just in case it wasn't clear: I LOVE IT.

I may have to make an applet for this one, I'd love to try it out!

Thanks for all the complements! @ Pantazis: Kelvin Stott wrote: Personally I prefer it without the numbers which are hard to understand how they relate . The numbers are so that there is some connection to Mathematics, since this puzzle is going to one of my favorite math professors as a "Thank you for 2 awesome semesters" gift. But I see what you mean about them not really relating. @ Everyone: Please give me as many sticker mods for this particular puzzle as you can, and I'll choose the one I like the best to put on the one I end up selling sometime during the summer. theVDude wrote: I may have to make an applet for this one, I'd love to try it out! Very nice! It reminds me of the Rotascope. Stickers on acrylic? We can do better than that. I have to introduce you to some online 1/8" sheet sources, variable depth etching and Elmer's alcohol based paint pens Dave
