I built a few weeks ago a bicone based on a hexagonal dipyramid. Stickers are handcut and stuck in a BOY scheme. Colors on white/green/orange cone whirl clockwise. Colors on yellow/blue/red cone whirl counterclockwise. I never seen it before but I may be wrong. Could you please give me a link or a builder name if I'm wrong? Click thumbnails to enlarge.

This is a really great build! getting smooth and accurate curved surfaces is very hard. Also, I love the stickers.

The last 2 pictures remind me of a chocolate and vanilla ice cream mix. Now I want ice cream!

They were molded and casted, this is a hand modded one, right? You made a hexagonal dipyramid and sanded it into a bicone?

That bicone isn't built on an axis. I like them both!

I like that color whirl on your bicone very much - may be I try this next time. Here is a picture of mine - I called it "diamond bicone" Attachment:

theVDude wrote: They were molded and casted, this is a hand modded one, right? You made a hexagonal dipyramid and sanded it into a bicone? True. It is hand modded. I made a hexagonal dipyramid then turned it into a dodecagonal dipyramid and finally sanded it into a bicone. @Georges: Why not seeing via PM?
