Hello everyone,

This is the Domino Mastermorphix. The idea for this puzzle was originally created by Twisty Puzzles very own Chris Hemerich, aka Synester. We were talking a while ago and he had mentioned that it would be a cool idea to make a Mastermorphix out of a 2x3x3. Chris was very nice in giving me permission to build this puzzle. Thank-you Chris.

The puzzle was made from a QJ 2x3x3. All the pieces were capped with ABS plastic sheet and the gaps in between the extended pieces were filled black Apoxie Sculpt. The stickers were machine cut and I used Arlon Vinyl for this puzzle. I explain a little more about the vinyl in the video here:

If you have time please watch until the end of the video. When I originally made the video I forgot to show that it was a shape shifting puzzle so I added that to the end. Hope you enjoy.

Very, very nice. I really like the recent builds from the domino base.

Combining mechanisms with different concepts, like Frank Tiex pointed out, creates really interesting puzzles! The cuts on this thing are so much like a normal Mastermorphix! Same with your axis domino.
