Really great work! I'm curious to see how deep the cuts will go with the face turning icosahedron you keep producing.

Very nice indeed! Door wrote: I imagine it would add a fair bit of difficulty to the solving? Very well done! I think you'll find, compared to the seccond radiolarian, it actualy only adds the moving centers which happen to have a very easy 3 cycle and can be solved last.

Great puzzle once again. I love how the cuts on each face seem to go just about anywhere. And why is the cornered radiolarian not part of the family?

Dave OK, Dave you will be the official video for this puzzle. I just await the next meetup... (I'm serious) Thanks everyone for the comments! There aren't many people in the world that appreciate these small steps into the list of puzzles-to-be-made, but I appreciate your cheers!

Hopefully, with the way I have my career planned, I'll be making some big purchases in a few years. (I'm only 19, so it's not a bad goal to aim for )

.. and I'm also willing to buy them for small money even By the way: in the last time I have the feeling, that custom puzzle prices decrease a little bit. I think most people (me included) are not willing and/or able to spend extreme prices for custom puzzles anymore. This is in general a good development and will allow more puzzle friends to buy nice and rare items at more reasonable prices. Of course I still think, that a builder, who spent hours over hours of manual work on his puzzle to become alive should get a reasonable reward for his effort. This is artwork. It is different in a way with 3D-printed puzzles. Here the brainwork on the mechanism and CAD-design choosing the proper dimensions and gaps counts should be honoured. But the rest is dumb replication. So it must be cheaper. Honestly, I prefer fix price and a direct deal with the builder. ebay, paypal are taking too much money And I always have to take into consideration, that imported puzzles to Germany (from outside EU) will have additional customs fees of 4,7% (toys) + 19% import tax = 23,7% on the original price!! No fun at all.. But - back to the topic - I guess we all agree, the Radiolarian family are desirable puzzles. And it would be great to get one of them sooner or later. At the moment I am as far away from these puzzles as you are. - Frank -
