Hi everyone, I finished this little guy a few days ago but haven't had a chance to post until now. It is a 2x3x3 mod made into an Axis type puzzle. I am going to call it a Domino Axis for now, but if anyone has a better name I would love to hear them. I will post more info and pictures tomorrow and hopefully a video. Getting a little to tired to finish up tonight. Hope you enjoy. Attachment:

This is amazing! Make sure you post pictures with size comparisons.

Hi again. So here are some more pictures and info on the puzzle. The puzzle is made from a 2x3x3 and all of the pieces were capped with 1m thick ABS plastic sheeting. The gaps between the extended pieces were filled with black Apoxie Sculpt. The stickers are Oracal Vinyl and were machine cut. I would like to make another one of these but cut it down a little further so that it is cubic. I was going to do that, but that would mean sanding down most of the extensions that I put on the puzzle in the first place so I decided not to. I was hoping to have a video done but I hope to have one done soon. Hope you enjoy the pictures. Oh, the last two pictures look as the though the calipers are not set to the size of the puzzle. The calipers are, it is just the angle of the pictures. Attachment:

Great new puzzle. I love how the axis-like cuts are positioned. Looking forward to the video!

Call me traditionalist, but I like Axis-Domino, because it describes what it is. Funny: Two years ago nobody would have known what an Axis cube is...
BTW: Well done!

Nice work! I can't work out how the original Domino sits within the puzzle. I love the scrambled pic - looks a beast to solve!

Here is the video. Sorry it took so long to get posted. Things are a little crazy around here. I have decided to take Andreas' suggestion and change the name to Axis Domino. Thanks Andreas. Hope you enjoy the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLxE9_Yetz0Oh, and the puzzle was cut like a Hex. Dipyramid. and then built back up. since there is no 3rd layer, those four side look like they are cut off.

A great addition to the Axis puzzle family. I'm always surprised what's possible combining shapes and concepts to new puzzle ideas.
Thanks for building!
