The cap was made from sheet plastic. It has been glued on in such a way that it could be removed if it needed to be removed. If you aply enough force in the right places you can pop it, but it is difficult. If a twisty puzzle member is to win this, I would like to know, Thanks, Tanner Frisby.

Great job, did you have a really hard time building this? I'd love to give it a try.

I started over a year ago. That is how hard it was. The hardest puzzle I have ever built. Have you ever noticed how there are almost 20 4x4x5's but only 2 5x5x4's? I can name 3 huge puzzle building genuises who have started but never finished. The corners were the trickiest. They took me more than a week.

Is this just "unhiding" the 5x5x5 in a 4x4x4 or "rehiding" it on a 5x5x5?

That is truly awesome! Well done. Just a shame that I know I don't have a chance in hell of winning it.

Excellent job and quite an achievement. I never dared to build one. theVDude wrote: Is this just "unhiding" the 5x5x5 in a 4x4x4 I know you mean well, but I always think it's funny when people use just in such a sentence. Thomas

Thomas wrote: I never dared to build one. That to me means a whole lot. Thanks! theVDude wrote: Is this just "unhiding" the 5x5x5 in a 4x4x4 Close, but this was just a 2 year building challenge that has only been performed once before. However, this is essentially "unhiding" the 5x5x5 in a 4x4x4.

If even just one bidder will just do justice to this puzzle, I won't be able to buy it.

Very nice !!! Great work ! I am modding an 455 too, but not finished. It's very interesting that you use a Chinese character as your logo. Do you know what's the meaning?

That character in Chinese pronounces "Xia" and means "down"

On topic, I'm going to look into this. It seems like an extremely complicated, hard to do mod that sounds like I'd have fun doing.

This is an amazing master-class work! You should be proud of yourself, Tanner. At least I am proud to have some of your puzzles.
