OK, I have a lot of 3x3x3 mods I am working on and I just finished the first one. I hope the idea is new. if it is I am calling it the Rubik's Plus, if not then I would like to know the name. but anyhow it was my friends and I made it for him. I will be selling it on eBay the listing will be made tomorrow and video is coming soon. but anyhow here it is!!!!! and just to let you know lots more mods will be coming as soon as I get the supplies so I will dedicate this thread to those mods as they will be coming thick and fast for awhile. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi3BSI4p6ZQ&feature=player_embedded#Auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270537870062here's the video, the quality isn't amazing but it isn't too too bad. (the video quality is what I mean, the quality of the cube is really good.)

If this turns the way I think it turns, I had the idea back in 2007. Didn't get a twistypuzzles account till 2009 and never got to making it

I am using Dian Sheng cubes for modding too. Realised that they use paints instead of stickers... Is it the same as yours?

yes it is the same for mine. it's ok most of the time but the thing you really need to watch out for is getting scratches on the cubes unless it's a cutting and sanding and filling project which this is not.

Do you have permission? Andreas obviously made it first.

Sorry guys, I was gone for the weekend, so i couldn't reply to your posts. I didn't realize it was already made, all I knew was that I had never seen or heard of it before so for met was an original idea, there is a slight difference in the one you posted though if you look at the color scheme. I am sorry

Alright here is the second mod I just finished, I don't have a name for it yet, this time I'll make sure it hasn't been made before I auction it it turned out just as good as the other one, if not better. if this has been made before I would like to know so I can get permission to sell it here's some pics: here's the link to the video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2axqq_Fr2xs

There is this old thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9660And there is this picture from my own collection: Attachment:

I think that a Triamese 1x2x3 is such a basic and obvious design (no pun intended) that no one (neither violinrocks nor me) can make a claim on it. Before i forget it: Well made!

thank you also there is a slight difference between this one and the pictures you posted, in the other pictures the pattern for fusing is just up, up, in an obligque pattern if you know what I mean, whereas mine goes up, down, so the third cube is on a level with the first. it can take the normal position of course, but only in a scrambled position.

Andreas looks at bandaged puzzles more in terms of solving than anything else. The solutions for the cubes are identical.

Next time I order some DianShengs, I'm going to make that puzzle. Thanks for the cool concept!
