I made this from a regular sized Eastsheen 2x2x2. It's basically just a version of the Hex Box puzzle I made last year, that's been truncated top and bottom. There's also a 'halfway' version made by TP member Sayasala, seen here (middle of the first picture). I prefer this version to the Hex Box because the scrambled shapes don't have any exposed inner surfaces. It's quite tricky to solve compared to a regular 2x2x2 and after just 3 or 4 turns, it's easy to become lost. I used 1.6mm styrene sheet and handcut the stickers. An old 3x3x3 from a car boot sale was used as cannon fodder to help build up the geometry Video added 07/02/10 Attachment:

I love it! I haven't really stared at it hard enough to recognize the 2x2x2 in it yet.

Justin, this is really one of the best 2x2x2 mods I've ever seen.
My congrats to this high quality build, your design is fantastic. Really an ingenious idea.

I love it; especially the symmetry of it, looks very nice.
