Here it is guys, my first design and print. I'm calling it a Quartet. I need to make the tiles or stickers for it, but I'm happy with my first design. It helped me learn my way around Solidworks and I will be learning how to cast with this puzzle also.

That's pretty cool. Not too complicated but very nicely done. All that's left is stickering. Good luck!

I will make the tiles today at some point, and sand down the mech one more time, and then I'll have pictures and video posted.

I figured out a way to make the same thing with s bunch of 2x2x2's a long time ago... yours is far better than my design!
I looks good too, I like how you made it pretty flat.

This design could be applied to give it any number of sides... who wants to make the first 40 sided puzzle and hold the record?

haha, i DO have a 5 and 6 in design, i just have to come up with the money to get the masters printed. The 7 will be a little different, but basically the same mechanism.
