I figured out a way to make the same thing with s bunch of 2x2x2's a long time ago... yours is far better than my design! I looks good too, I like how you made it pretty flat. This design could be applied to give it any number of sides... who wants to make the first 40 sided puzzle and hold the record?

haha, i DO have a 5 and 6 in design, i just have to come up with the money to get the masters printed. The 7 will be a little different, but basically the same mechanism.
